About Chinese Converter

Chinese Converter transforms text between Traditional Chinese (used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau) and Simplified Chinese (used in mainland China and Singapore). Conversion is performed entirely in your browser using a context-aware phrase-segmentation engine, so ambiguous characters are resolved using the surrounding text rather than a naïve one-to-one lookup.

The tool ships with a reference mapping table of over 8,000 characters, including pronunciation (Pinyin for Mandarin, Jyutping for Cantonese) and regional variant notes for Taiwan and Hong Kong. All processing happens locally — no input text is sent to any server.
